According to TurkStat data, foreign trade volume with Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland reached a record high of 7 billion 108 million dollars in the January-August period. The strong growth in foreign trade with Turkey has also increased the importance of the region for the logistics sector. NGL, which provides transportation services to all of Europe, especially Eastern and Northern European countries, is also increasing its power between Turkey and Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Taking its name from the north, the company continues to deliver Turkey’s export products to Scandinavia and the products of the countries in the region to Turkey. NGL Co-Founder Ferhat Emanetoğlu stated that Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, which are among the most prosperous countries in the world, have become an important market for Turkey. Pointing out that Turkey’s developing trade with these countries has increased the importance of the region in terms of logistics, Emanetoğlu said, “We transport mostly textiles, automotive, metal goods and furniture products, fruits and vegetables, machinery, mechanical devices, electrical machinery and devices, plastics and products to Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.” Emanetoğlu said that mechanical devices, electrical machinery and devices, pharmaceutical products, plastics and plastic products, metal goods, chemical products, paper and automotive products stand out in import transportation from these countries. “We did not stop even under the most challenging conditions” Stating that they carry out their international transportation activities mainly by road, and that they carry out intermodal transportation by air, sea and rail according to demand, Emanetoğlu also noted the following: “We organize one trip every two days for complete or partial import and export loads.
